Longnose Snake, Southern Arizona

Here is a picture of a longnose snake from Southern Arizona. We saw two during our last trip. Not quite the coral snakes we were hoping to see, but very colorful nonetheless:

    Wow, that is beautiful snake! I’d like to come across one after I move to AZ. Great photography too. Good luck on the coral snake. In 48 years I have only seen one and that was in FL when I was 13. I got all of about 10 seconds of viewing before it went under a rock. My Dad had told me never to chase a coral so I didn’t.
